Then we invite you to participate in Living archives (Levende Archieven): ean art project to share stories, memories and experiences about Curaçao. This heritage is the starting point for a joint theatrical walk with dance, music and performance.
Why? There is a Wilhelmina Park in Breda, Tilburg and Curaçao. These parks bear traces of history, such as the colonial past, but are also meeting places for the present and the future. In this project, we will explore together what this history means in the here and now.

What are we going to do?

  • What: 10 meetings of approximately 2 hours. You can participate every time, but you don’t have to.
  • Who: Together with participants and professionals; everyone can contribute with dance, movement, a memory, a story, a drawing or music.
  • How: By creating together; everyone can choose the role that suits them best and together we will create a performance of dance, music and performance art.

Practical information

  • Where: Tilburg (DansBrabant) and Breda (Chassé Carré)
  • When: Tuesdays in Tilburg and Thursdays in Breda from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
