On Saturday 15 June at 10:30, a special pop-up concert will take place at the StadsGalerij in Breda. In collaboration with concert organisation De Link from Tilburg, we open the doors to composers from North Brabant and beyond — from emerging talent to more established names. This year’s programme includes music by Jacq Palinckx, Maia Steinberg & David Bello, and several students from AMPA (Academy of Music and Performing Arts).

This event is part of the third national Day of the Composer, during which more than 100 composers across the Netherlands will take centre stage. Their work will be heard in concerts and performances across 15 cities. Just like last year, De Link steps out of the concert hall and takes music on the road. With a bus full of composers and musicians, they’ll travel through the province giving pop-up concerts — starting with Witte Rook and heading next to November Music in Den Bosch. Come and listen — or hop on the bus and join the ride!
