You are warmly invited to join us on Friday 10 May from 18:00 for the opening of the Open Studio presentation, showcasing new work by six talented young artists from Brabant.
From 16 April to 12 May, the national heritage site StadsGalerij in Breda has been transformed into an ideal workspace for the Inversie talent development programme. During this period, artists Shanna Huijbregts, Renée Bus, Fedrik Vaessen, Larissa Schepers, Sofie Hollander, and Kelly Christogiannis have worked in the monumental space — experimenting, researching, and most importantly, creating new work.
Each artist has set up a working station tailored to their own artistic practice, ranging from ceramics and textiles to music, film, dance or performance. The emphasis has been on sharing, learning from each other, and even developing new collective rituals. The results will be on show under the title “Voor-Spellen, Navertellen” on Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May.
