Open Call Inversie #6

Are you an artist with a connection to Brabant? Are you ambitious and ready to invest in the artistic and professional development of your artistic practice? If so, you may be eligible for Inversie, a talent development programme in North Brabant for visual artists. Inversie is a 12-month programme aimed at emerging or early-career artists who have clear development questions related to their practice. From 8 December 2025 until 8 January 2026, you can apply for Inversie #6 via this Open Call.

You can apply by sending an email to info@inversie.nu including your CV, portfolio and motivation letter. After the deadline, we will check in February whether your application is complete. At the end of March, you will be informed whether you have been selected for the first round, after which interviews will be scheduled in April. The final selection will be made before the end of April, and the first programme activities will start in September 2026. Your application for Inversie must include:

• In your motivation, explain why you wish to participate in Talenthub Inversie. Clearly and specifically describe your development questions, your ambitions, and how actively you are engaged in your practice or the broader arts field. Please also outline your artistic vision, artist statement and/or provide a description of your artistic practice.
• A CV including a relevant selection of your experience and your full contact details, including links to your website and social media.
• A portfolio containing visual material and, if applicable, links to audiovisual work. Please include the title, year, materials, context, partners or collaborations, and a brief content-related description for each work.

Inversie supports talented emerging visual artists who position their practice outside the conventional frameworks of the art world, focusing on both artistic development and appropriate professional practice. The strength of Inversie lies in its personal mentoring, group cohesion and in-depth content, laying a foundation of self-confidence through, among other things, workshops, work periods, presentations and expert meetings. Within the programme, Inversie collaborates with a wide range of partners from the Brabant arts field; Kunstpodium T, Witte Rook, TAC, Willem Twee Kunstruimte, Stedelijk Museum Breda, Graphic Atelier Den Bosch, Het NoordBrabants Museum, Galerie Ruby Soho, Emoves and Van Abbemuseum.

Inversie has a programme that starts in September 2026: Inversie #6. Inversie #6 has room for nine talents. Inversie #7 starts in September 2027 and has room for eight talents. The Open Call for this edition will be opened at the end of 2026.
