49m2, year 8, summer 2024 | Observation by Qiaochu Guo

Chinese artist Qiaochu Guo (they/them) began their residency on the 20th of June, 2024, and was given the authority over a 7x7m piece of land in Zaartpark, Breda Netherlands.

The three months reached to a conclusion on the 21st of September 2024, when Qiaochu Guo hosted a workshop ‘As dangerous as lawn, as pebbly as grass’ together with artist Raffia Lito explore the limitations of the human body and mind in relation to the environment. Both these video’s are part of Qiaochu Guo’s observation.
