Inversie | start of residency at StadsGalerij

Inversie is coming to Breda! This Brabant-based talent development programme, of which Witte Rook is one of the key partners, will be holding a residency at Witte Rook in the StadsGalerij from 27 April to 24 May. Four weeks of experimentation, research and, above all, creating new work. The artists taking part in this fifth edition are Sjors Smit, Benjamin Schoones, Esther van Zoelen, Roeland Rooijakkers, Lola Safari, Lesja van Hoof and Joey Monopoly.

On Tuesday 28 April, preparations began straight away for a presentation for Unfair in September at Westergas Amsterdam. Lara Den Hartog Jager, curator of Unfair, dropped by to get to know Inversie and to tell us more about how Unfair combines the principles of a fair and an exhibition to create different experiences for both visitors and participants.

The results of the working period will be on display on 21 May when the studio doors open and you can take a peek into the Inversie #5 studio. Stay tuned!
