winter period 2026 WITH jetske apollonia & sam maske AS GUEST ARTISTS IN ZAARTPARK, BREDA
Mr. and Mrs. Bloem is the artistic duo of Jetske Apollonia and Sam Maske. Driven by their shared, playful curiosity, they explore themes such as ecology, gender identity, emotional growth, and human relationships. Their practice transcends mediums: for each project, they reinvent the form, ranging from performance and music to puppetry and sculpture.

During their 49m² residency, they focus on the non-human narratives of the park. After previous research into the human experience of this place, they now shift their focus to the materiality of the landscape: the soil, the water, the trees, and the stones. By collecting these natural materials and creating a sculpture with them, they allow the park to speak in its own language and simultaneously explore new forms of collaboration within their artistic practice.
